In September 2017, after 2 years clear, her oncologist found a small lump in her neck. When a needle biopsy came back testing positive, she was disheartened.
How can this happen?
Sam took out a yellow legal pad and wrote down the lyrics for I’m Gonna Fly to help and encourage his wife through the next round of the fight with the demon.
Music therapy once again.
The duo have been tweaking these tunes ever since. Playing them for live audiences, rewriting and fine-tuning, adding voices and and instruments, recording and re-recording. Sam is also the audio engineer. Agonizing over all of the production details. :)
Then—- Covid 19 hit us all.
Terrifying and trying our lives. Kind of like the cancer demon.
Now, we’re crawling back to normal. It leaves an impression. It reshapes our priorities.
