Roots rock-edged Folk. Donna Colton and Sam Patterelli share songwriting credits on this disc. Sad breakup songs, summer fun songs, and an epic protest song weave together the layers as a bed for Colton's big, rich and powerful voice. Music writer, Mark Bialczak picked Tryst as #1 in his list of Top 10 CDs of the year. The CD was mastered by Pete Moshay at A-Pawling Studios (Barbra Streisand, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Hall & Oates).
